I had a friend of mine ask me for a quick, easy recipe that used minimal ingredients for a party she was going to. The only thing was at the time I didn't have anything like that at all! So I played around in the Kitchen and came up with these. They are SO easy & quick to prepare - Not to mention they are delicious. I hope you enjoy! 


1 cup soaked dates, 1/3 cup cacao powder, 2 tablespoons melted cacao butter, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, 1/2 cup coconut thread



Have dates soaking in boiled water for 10 minutes. Combine melted cacao powder and coconut oil in a medium sized bowl. Place almond meal, raw almonds and coconut thread into food processor and pulse to break the full almonds into smaller pieces. Once broken up a bit drain water from dates and pour dates into food processor with almond and coconut mixture. It's okay if there is still a little bit of water in dates. Pulse and combine the mixture. The mixture will be hard to combine because it will be quite dry. Just scrape the sides and keep at it until clumps form. Add in the chocolate mixture from the beginning and pulse again. You may need to scrape the sides a couple more times. Once combined transfer the mixture into the bowl you used for the chocolate mixture and stir using a spoon. You want to try and get the mixture in a ball like shape. Using your spoon scrape out some mixture and role it into a ball. Once you've made 8 balls feel free to add one tablespoon of chia seeds to the remaining mixture to change it up a bit or you can continue as is until all the mixture is in balls. The balls will be warm and you can eat them straight away for a fudgy texture or let cool in the fridge and set for 30 minutes. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

There are sooo many different ways you can change up this recipe!! If you like coconut role your balls in more coconut thread for a pretty finish.
