FEEL THE FEAR & SKYDIVE ANYWAY.

At the beginning of 2017 I made a pretty big bucket list for myself, with all the things I wanted to try in 2017, you can read about some of those things here.

One of them was a Skydive. I had been making my way through my bucket list for about 5 months when I got given a voucher to skydive at 10,000 FT in Masterton for my birthday. I was SO AMPED!

So amped that I procrastinated until NOVEMBER when the voucher was about to expire until I booked it in...

A few weeks of bad weather & postponements later I FINALLY got the okay from the Skydive team.

Usually I would be freaking out at the thought of what I was about to do but this felt different.

It felt like everything I had done in 2017 had led me to this point.

The point where I was not scared.

I was filled with excitement & thrilled that I was getting the opportunity to face my fear ( How strange is that?! )

Once we made it to Masterton the safety briefing began & before I knew it I was in a plane, in the sky.

The feeling of being 10,000 feet was like nothing I have experienced before.

I was shocked to say the least at the loss of feeling across my whole body apart from my face.

I had to remind myself to be present and take it all in.

'Just Breathe'

'You are okay' ( Something I tell myself regularly as a reminder of safety )

The view although a bit brown in parts was incredible!

Here's the clip of my dive to see for yourself:

As soon as I got to the ground I was imagining the other places I wanted to Skydive.

If you're someone who is looking to overcome fear & push past limiting beliefs then a Skydive is definitely for you!

Trust me you won't regret it. If you're still not sold this may help change your mind...

Have you done a Skydive before?

What was the experience like for you... What did you feel? Did it take everything you had just to get out of the plane?

I would love to know. Please comment below this post or find me on Facebook to let me know your experience.
