''In less than 24 hours after completing this masterclass I've come up with a 12 week game plan and got buy in from my household''
I've walked away from this masterclass feeling really clear on where I can make some changes to be able to progress some of my bigger picture goals. In less than 24 hours after completing this masterclass I've come up with a 12 week game plan and got buy in from my household about where to from here and how. I'm really excited about what next for me. I don't think I would be at this stage of being able to take action if it weren't for some of the gems I've taken away from the session.

I recently shared about ways you can get out of your head when you’re feeling overwhelmed. [read more here]
This week I want to carry on from that and share something profound but also really simple with you
I specialize in helping my clients break down big, overwhelming tasks into smaller, manageable pieces. I also coach them on ways to mentally upgrade themselves so that they can better handle these types of situations in the future. With my help, you'll be able to take on anything that comes your way.
One of my clients this week said she'd been spending more time scrolling through social media because she was avoiding the pressures of work. I explained to her that this wasn't a healthy coping mechanism and that it would actually end up doing more harm than good.
It's easy to feel like things aren't going your way when you compare yourself to others on social media. When you see people who seem to have their lives together, it can be disheartening. But it's important to remember that everyone has their own struggles. You're seeing a snapshot of people's lives, not the whole picture. So try to focus on your own life and what makes you happy instead of mindlessly scrolling social media.
When you do feel overwhelmed or like you need a distraction from your day, take a step back and center yourself. You can do things like meditation, take breaks, or go for a walk. And make sure to surround yourself with positive content that will inspire you, like this blog and my podcast!
There's another thing I’d like to share today that I think will really help you when you're feeling overwhelmed.
Last weekend, my partner and I traveled down to Palmerston North. I'd been feeling stressed all week and not like myself. I was highly emotional and constantly overthinking every area of my life and business.
One week later, I'm all good and on the up! As I shared in last week's blog this is all part of the human experience and it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with us at all. It is what it is. We go through hard times just like we go through easy times and it's all normal.
As we were leaving Rotorua to start our roadie to Palmerston north I did something I haven’t done in a while. This is something that I learned about when we had our guest Tirra on the Get Confident podcast (Episode 38) who taught us how to open ourselves up to spirituality and connect with guides to help us on our personal growth journey.
I was reflecting on the emotions I had experienced the week prior - fear, procrastination, and doubts about my abilities. I took Tirra's advice and I asked for guidance to be more open over the weekend, to let go of stress and have fun. With that I let it go. Any time I felt those feelings pop up again or found my mind wondering in concern about what I would be doing when I got home on Monday, I trusted that I had asked for guidance and support and that it was coming to me.
I trusted that I was meant to be in Palmy having a great time with my friends and making memories with my partner and I did my best to be open and not bogged down with the feelings from the week.
I had a great time at Friendsgiving in Palmy, and it was especially nice to catch up with an old acquaintance. We had some great conversations about her upcoming business venture. I shared some of my own experiences with her, and I could tell that she appreciated my honesty. This is something that I've learned through my training as a coach: by being vulnerable with others, we can create an open and safe space for them to do the same.
We spoke about my belief that your business and life will only grow as much as you do. If you stop growing, your business or life will stagnate. That's why I think it's important to have a business coach and a personal coach. Starting a business or making a career change is a huge undertaking, and it's crucial to have good support throughout the process.
I have a 50/50 mix of corporate and self-employed clients. Both groups benefit from having me as a coach to help them see their blind spots, unravel overwhelming thoughts or projects, and create healthy habits around personal care. This allows them to progress in their careers, businesses, and other life goals. I realized something while at Friendsgiving as I was having this conversation and I literally laughed out loud. I was reminded that I need a personal coach to help keep me in check! I have so much business support but I didn't have any personal support.
If I hadn't asked for help and guidance, I wouldn't have realized that I wasn't doing what I needed to be doing in order to grow in my personal and professional life.
I wanted to share this with you today because it's SOOOO simple yet it's such a revelation and I find it mind-blowing that I had my own blinders on when it came to this.
What am I doing about the realization from my Friendsgiving conversation? I’ve reached out to my friend who is a trained therapist who works in social work and we’re going to be swapping services. I’ll be coaching her to help her find more fulfillment in her career and she’ll be helping me to balance my life elements with my business vision. How frekin awesome!!
If this has inspired you to see how having a coach can help you grow awareness in your life and career, I'd love to chat with you. Book a free call with me where we can see what you're working towards and what your blindspots may be. This will help you create your dream life faster, with clarity, and remove any procrastination, fear, or self-doubt.
